Zavkhan run horse riding tours in Mongolia. Their aim is to make a living, but to do it in an ethical way that benefits the local people too. We had to not only convince clients to go to Mongolia, but also to set up all the tourism infrastructure from scratch (there is no other tourism in the area). Despite the challenges, we gave people their 'trip of a life time', and they absolutely loved it. We are looking forward to growing the business next year.
This is a group of 96 small B and B’s throughout Scotland established 10 years ago. They are all 4 or 5 Star graded and take no more than 6 guests. All the work of organising the group, producing 25,000 annual brochures, advertising and distribution of the brochure, liaising with a web designer and keeping things going is done by a committee of 10 members. It's quite an undertaking as none of us has any previous knowledge or experience and we all are busy with our individual businesses. Unfortunately none of us has the time, the skill or the expertise to get media coverage and it is frustrating to be unable to tell more people about us as we know there are lots of potential guests out there looking for the sort of friendly, welcoming, top quality accommodation which we offer.

Wheatgrass is widely considered as one of the best sources of nutrition available. As with anything worthwhile, it is not obtained without considerable effort and attention to detail. Many people have traditionally resorted to processed forms of wheatgrass such as pills and powders in order to avoid the chore and time involved in growing and juicing their own. Until recently this was the only alternative as ordinary juice only has a shelf life of one day. Tonic Attack wheatgrass is grown in OceanSolution. This special solution, derived from the oceans, the largest sustainable resource in the world, contains all of the nutrients the wheatgrass needs. This extends the shelf life of our product to a whopping fourteen days, enabling us do all the hard work, and you to reap all the benefits.

First performance in Britain by a British theatre company of Japanese Kyogen Comedy Theatre (performed in English) as part of the 2006 Festival of Japan.
Millichamp and Hall make cricket bats (and other cricket equipment) - last year they supplied three different bats to three different players from the same batch in the same week. Two of the players were professional cricketers playing first class cricket for Surrey CCC at the Oval. Both professionals scored a century in their first innings with their new bats. An incredible performance from a small local batmaker and priceless PR for the local press and maybe wider.
